So today is Day 3 of this quick beauty mission. Yesterday went really well. I did the 1.4 miles walk/run but I was so extremely sore from the Shred. Its pretty unbelievable. The first time I did the Shred, I thought it was too easy and I didn't feel sore at all the next day. What a reality check. I need my muscles back!!!
This morning I woke up really late (11am) and did some fasting cardio (1.4 miles again). I just ate my new favorite clean treat...the yogurt meal I described in my "I just had an O" post. It is so wonderful. I am about to go tan outside for a little bit. I am not too excited about putting on my bikini but hopefully not too many people will be at the pool, lol. (Ugh, I hope I don't have to think this way in a few months).
I'll probably come back and do some push ups, leg lifts and abs before I shower.

ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about not keeping your wedding body. Why do we do that to ourselves? I was going to try to keep close to my comp body and failed miserably - now trying to get it back for my Aug.1 wedding. WTF
And I have weddings to attend this summer as well - I need to look good!!

Congrats on your upcoming wedding! You look great already. I'm sure you will make a gorgeous bride. The 30 Day Shred is a video by Jillian Michaels. Its had 3 different levels. Once you are very comfortable doing level 1, you move on to level 2. Each workout is only 20 min long. It combines weights, cardio and abs. For people that lift regularly, I wouldn't really call it a strength video...more of a circuit cardio. Its pretty good for a quick workout.
