The last two days my husband and I have been doing crossfit workouts to change things up a bit. We have been considering joining the local crossfit gym but thought we would give it a try ourselves first.
On Monday we did 15 sets of the following in our garage:
5 pull ups
10 push ups
10 hanging ab raises
15 squats
Of course I had to do jumping pull-ups.
Yesterday we went to the park and did 10 rounds of:
5 pull ups
7 burpies
10 kettle bell squats with forward shoulder raises
I used a 20 pound kettle bell and my hubbie used a 30 pound one. I almost died at the park due to the swarms of mosquitoes.
Lets just say we are both beyond sore today. It was a nice change of pace.

I've never tried cross fit because I've always been a little afraid of it! Although I guess if I can do Insanity I am probably crazy enough to do anything :)
